Recently Krysta and I tackled her Halloween costume with inspiration from this adorable "last minute" kids owl costume idea and some help from a bottle of Cono Sur Carmenere.
First things first: the wine was wonderful. Smooth and rich and warm. A perfect fall red.
As for the costume - I feel bad for any parent trying to tackle this at the "last minute". A good four hours later, with both of us working (thats 8 hours of people time) it was done a ready to wear. Hardly a thing to try to throw together an hour before trick-or-treat.
Anyhow, good company and a good final product!
